How To improve your Blogges And Why Most Bloggers Are Wrong

Why Most Bloggers Are Wrong

Ivan Ho  Yes, it’s true. Most business bloggers have their heads on backwards when they first try to make money with a blog. It’s a difficult process, especially if you’re new to regular writing or have never run a business before.
However, it looks deceptively easy and so many give it a go. That’s the Dunning-Kreuger Effect in action. This is a psychological bias that makes people think they’re better at something than they really are because they have no experience.
And there’s a huge learning curve too.
It starts simple enough:
1. Get Hosting
2. Get a Domain
3. Install and Configure WordPress
4. Create Content
5. Advertise Content
6. Put Ads on Site / Sell Product
7. Make Money

This is just the barest skeleton, but this is the process you normally see in “how to make money online” guides. Unless someone is skilled in business, or has excellent instruction, this skeleton isn’t enough to flesh out your business.
There are thousands of blogs in thousands of niches that are stuck at some step in this process because they didn’t know some of the keys to make it in this business. They’re part of the 90% that doesn’t make more than a couple of accidental bucks off of their blog.
The people who are making real money from their blogs know where to follow this plan and where to break it. Well, the first two steps are pretty non-negotiable for a web business, and the last is the goal, but the rest have some flex. For some insight into how I did it for myself, check out my Profit Blogging Blueprint product.
To see how bloggers fail in their quest to reach step seven, here’s what I’ve observed.

I Don’t Like Failed Blogs
Why am I so eager to share my secrets? I’m tired of seeing failed blogs. The Internet is still growing and reaching new places. You have the world at your fingertips as a potential market. Here’s another secret.
Competition on the net is fierce, but it’s not between blogs. The competition lies in the minds of the readers of your content. The phrase “content is king” doesn’t really sink in until you start putting some content out there.
And it can’t be just fluff either. In my blogging video series, I outline three major keys that most business bloggers never consider when setting up their blog. One of them talks about the most important content strategy you need to make money online. If you’re new at this, I urge you to watch it before you think of dropping any money on domains or hosting.

It’s that important.
Also, I know that even if someone had all the keys, it’s still up to each person to put the keys into the locks and turn them. Successful business blogging still requires a lot of work. I can point the way, and even give you consultant advice, but I can’t write your content for you. That’s up to you.
Let’s take a look at the simplest business blog I’ve ever read: zenhabits.net. In 2012, Leo Babauta had 240,000 subscribers and Alexa ranked it as the 3732th most popular website in the US. It is all content. It’s bold, simple, and uncluttered. He also makes a lot of cash off his blog, yet you have to scroll to the very bottom of the page to even see the links to his books and courses!
When a new reader comes to his blog, his content has to be so compelling that they reach the bottom of the page and wanting more. Again, content is king. In fact, all three of my major keys in my video free series are content-related, not design-related.

Products and Advertisers
Content goes beyond your posts and pages. It’s also a fundamental part of your product. A well-crafted product will speak volumes about your business. So will a poorly-crafted one. You should take the time to make any product you sell as professional as possible.
Take the time to hire writers and editors and designers and layout specialists if you have never written for online publications. Elance is an excellent place to find someone in all these specialities. It is less expensive than you might think, though you do get what you pay for.
If your goal is to attract advertisers, then your website is your product. Same principles apply. Make it as professional as possible. This is where good design comes in. You can go ultra-simple like Babauta or get complex, but it must be professional. Here are some very basic things

I’ve seen bad bloggers fail to do:
• Broken links/video
• Contact forms that don’t work right
• Poor spacing and centering of design elements
• Non-responsiveness
• Unnecessary functions
• Glaring color schemes
• Poor use of graphics
• Impossible to find anything easily
• No sales funnel while still saying there’s a product for sale (!)

The relationship between design and content is like the relationship between wrapping paper and a present. The present is the important thing, but if it’s wrapped up poorly or is difficult to open, no one is going to want to get to the content. The role of your design should be to guide people to the content they need at the appropriate moment.
This is why marketing automation is important. Marketing automation uses technology to deliver targeted marketing messages. If these messages have poor content or are delivered in poor manner, their effectiveness won’t be there. I go more into this in my blogging video series and my other products.

Your Turn
Every business blogger have had a major hurdle to overcome. It could be technological, it could be sales knowledge, it could be content development or something else entirely. Have you had a failed blog in the past? What happened? Let me know in the comments below.

ISLAMABAD: Expressing satisfaction over Pakistan’s nuclear research capability, Director General of European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN), Dr Sergio Bertolucci has said that Pakistani government would have to ratify the international agreement for becoming an associate member of this forum.

Pakistan has submitted an application in February last year to become associate member of CERN. Now the CERN Technical Team (CTT) has paid four day visit to evaluate the country’s capability in area of science and nuclear research and will table its findings before its council for approving or rejecting the request of Islamabad.

The CERN members include 20 European countries. Recently, Israel has been accorded its membership. There are 3 associate members and 5 observer’s states including India.

“We will probably present our assessment before council of CERN in coming June or September meeting to deliberate upon Pakistan’s request for becoming associate member of this forum. After getting nod of the the Council, Pakistani government will have to ratify agreement with the CERN to become its associate member,” the visiting head of CERN delegation, Dr Sergio Bertolucci said while addressing a joint press briefing along with Chairman Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission(PAEC) Dr Ansar Parvez here on Thursday.

The four member delegation of CERN has visited Pakistan from February 10 to 14 and scrutinised nuclear research capability of different installations including Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC-3).

During their stay in Pakistan, the European delegation met with PM Nawaz Sharif and different federal ministers including Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ehsan Iqbal. The Chairman PAEC Dr Ansar Parvez said that all procedural requirements would be accomplished in next six to eight months and hoped that the country would become part of CERN without facing any major problems.

When asked to identify areas where Pakistan required improvements for becoming associate member of CERN, the CERN’s delegation head said that Pakistan would have to improve its networking capability, which will become catalyst for moving at accelerated pace in area of scientific and nuclear research capabilities. There are few areas impeding faster development and one area is improving networking capability, he added.

He said that Pakistan was not granted status of observer at the forum of CERN because in 2010 this portfolio was abolished. Now Pakistan has submitted its application for becoming associate member of this forum and the process for evaluating the country’s capability kick-started with the visit of this delegation, he added.

Pakistan has very cordial relation with the CERN located in Geneva, Switzerland. CERN is a world leading scientific organization which has been conducting research on High Energy Particle Physics since its inception in 1954.

3 Keys To A Successful Product Launch

3 Keys To A Successful Product Launch

Ivan Ho
Your product launch will be successful or unsuccessful depending on the planning efforts that you put into the product before the launch. This is where your ability to plan out the bigger picture comes into play. A mind-blowing product launch can boost you to the next money making level.
We talked earlier about the email sequence for your perfect product launch (Here’s the previous article). In this article, we’re going to talk a little bit more about what works in product launches.

Professional video
If your customers don’t believe that you’re taking your product seriously, then they’re not going to take it seriously, either. While you don’t have to spend a fortune on creating product launch videos, it’s important that you do place some production value into it.

Professionally written copy
Typos, bad language, and other factors hinder having a great product launch. If you are presenting yourself as an expert in the field, you have to shape up the writing.
You might be horrible at spelling and grammar, but remember that you don’t need to be good at it, as long as you hire a great copy writer.

Working Together
Once you’ve gotten all of the copy written and the videos created, it’s time to get all of it working with each other. You want to have a smooth funnel, where people move through it like a greased slide. All of the links have to work, because your customers might not have the patience to keep searching for a way to buy your product.
Now, if you’re thinking that you need to have all kinds of technical knowledge, a web designer, and several of those expert ‘gurus’ on hand to make your sales funnel work, think again. Leadpages makes it easy to create a dynamite launch funnel.
After getting my professional videos created, all I had to do was connect them up to the opt-in pages and then to my sales page. Because I used Leadpages, I didn’t have to figure out how to program, learn how to connect my sales funnel in with the other aspects of the program, or anything like that.
It was pretty much all done over the course of an afternoon.
When you’re able to easily connect your opt-in pages with your videos and your sales page, that gives you a lot more time to think of new products to launch, count the money that you’ve made from your previously existing products, or simply enjoy yourself.
I can’t tell you about the countless hours that I’ve saved just by using this product.
In this video, the people at Leadpages explain in easy to understand terms how to set up your sales funnel for the maximum effectiveness.
There are seven parts to it, including three opt-in pages and three video pages, with each one of them designed to get your customers interested in the new product.
